Welcome to gone.world. This is the home of sailing vessel Humpback and its crew: David, Charlotte, Arthur, Theo and Hector. We blog mostly about each place we visit and our passages between them. Sometimes, we also talk about other things like babies and children on board, boat-schooling and boat maintenance.
A couple of days in one of our favorite places. Peaceful as ever.
Overnight stop, Charlotte and the boys visited the beautiful zoo while Dave did some work and repaired the autopilot, then we carried on.
Little text, lots of photos. Enjoyed our last visit to Rodney Bay – lots of time on Pigeon Island, and a new bimini fitted to shade the cockpit.
Little text, many photos. Had a good time with Nana B in a villa. Very at home in the marina.
Stopped to check out of St. Vincent. Huge bay.
short text, lots of photos. Pirates of the Caribbean scene, beautiful waterfall, good food.
We love “bread man”, a taste of luxury ;-). Good time here again, kids alternating between playing and fighting.
Our visit started with an overheated engine. Loved the place. Left when the food ran out.
Overnight stop to avoid night-entry to Tobago Cays.
Too many mosquitoes. Otherwise we’d have stayed longer. Left our old dinghy tied to another boat.
