Didn’t write anything down this day – sorry!
Great morning’s sailing. Didn’t write anything down in the afternoon..
Varied wind speeds. Kids playing games, making things and a mess with clay. Charlie helming with Theo in his wrap.
An uncomfortable morning, but once we slowed the boat down it became more comfortable. Nighttime squalls.
Changing weather forecast, so changing course. More good food…
Comfortable start to the passage – eating proper food, too. Establishing passage routines.
Stunning cliff-face skyline provides the setting for a secure anchorage off a lovely little town. We spent a wonderful couple of weeks here and exploring inland a little.
Wonderful sail. Experimenting with twin headsails (success), stargazing with Arthur, ringing in the New Year off the South coast of Tenerife.
Spent longer than planned anchored off this somewhat dull, but pretty enough, private urbanisation. Christmas visits from Nana B and Gordon; lots of swimming.
