We had a lovely sail, only using the engines for 5 minutes at either end when un-mooring at Calero and anchoring at Lobos. With Hector around we are tending towards reducing sail earlier (when it is easier to do so) – so our general sailing speed is a little lower than previously, but it means that constant vigilance is less necessary which makes life easier. Hector doesn’t even notice we are at sea, and the two older kids are back in the sleeping/playing rhythm they seem to employ on passages. Arthur even had his first watch (all of 10 minutes).
In other news, Charlotte’s sea-sickness seems much better since Hector was born, so we are all hoping that lasts.
