Crossing the Atlantic – Day Sixteen

Domestic day – vinegar wash for the kitchen, thorough clean and tidy up for the saloon, did the washing again, had baths in the cockpit (we ran the watermaker to make some new freshwater – its great that the seawater is warm enough for washing in!). Following bathtime the kids did some extended and cooperative water-games and generally had a good time. Hector was trying to get involved in everything he sees, and managing an astounding amount of cruising around the furniture considering the floor is moving at all times.

Good rainstorm in the late afternoon had Arthur dancing. Can’t show you the videos as there’s too much nudity.

Sailing was pleasant – downwind, enough wind to sail nearly all day (ran the engine for an hour when the wind dropped to 2kt).
